10 Killed, Including 5 Indian Soldiers In Kashmir

At least five Indian soldiers had reportedly been killed in the blistering gun battle broke out between freedom fighters and the Indian army in the northern part of Kashmir. The spokesperson for the Indian military claimed on Monday that five Indian military personals and the same number of Jihadists were killed in a shootout, took place between arch-rivals and continued for four days, in Kupwara District. Kupwara is one of 10 districts located in the Kashmir region of Jammu and Kashmir. The same source further claimed that five freedom seekers and 3 Indian soldiers were killed on the spot, while 2 other Indian military commandos died when they were being taken to a nearby military hospital by air ambulance. Killed Indian soldiers identified as Subedar Sanjeev Kumar, Havildar Davendra Singh, Paratrooper Bal Krishan, Paratrooper Amit Kumar, and Paratrooper Chhatrapal Singh.
