Iran: Senior Revolutionary Commander Succumbed To Coronavirus Disease

TEHRAN, Iran — A senior commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has reportedly been died after battling Coronavirus disease. The Iranian government-run news agency reported on Friday that Nasser Shabani, a senior commander of IRGC died of Coronavirus. According to the spokesperson for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, 5 members of IRGC and 13 political figures have died of Coronavirus. Total mortalities from Coronavirus in Iran have reached to 514, and 11,364 others have been diagnosed as Coronavirus patients, as of Friday. World wide 142,783 Coronavirus Cases, 5,374 deaths and 70,920 patients recovered from Coronavirus disease reported. Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and the Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS).
