In Anti Extremists crackdown, 39 ISIS Elements Exterminated In Northern Iraq

BAGHDAD, Iraq — The National Media Cell of Iraq also known as National Press Centre, confirmed the elimination of a large column of malefactors in clampdown on miscreants in Salah ad-Din province in Iraq, located in the north of Baghdad. The anti-ISIS operation was carried out by Iraqi special forces in rocky areas of Salah ad-Din province on Monday, which was expected to be accomplished within a short span of time, stretched to next-day with the desired result by liquidating about 39 terrorists, military media reported on Tuesday. Following the intelligence-based information, coalition aircraft in collaboration with Iraqi ground forces wrought havoc with the hostile forces, in targetted airstrikes, several underground tunnels frequently used by extremists and weapons depots were annihilated. In late 2017, a spokesperson for the NATO-lead anti-ISIS coalition told the media during the briefing that approximately 10,000 Iraqi forces and 2,000 Kurdish militants had been killed in the war against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Mr: Brett McGurk, further added during the press conference in the city of Erbil in Iraq’s Kurdistan that unity is necessary among the anti-ISIS forces for swift victory, as political rivalries have been harming the war against terrorism in Iraq. Haider Jawad Kadhim al-Abadi had declared victory against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in July 2017, when Mosul city was collapsed to Iraqi forces, However, some remaining elements are spreading chaos and havoc to penetrate security forces and civilians in order to expand further control in the strategic constituencies of Iraq and Syria.

Train Collision In Spain: 39 Passengers Killed & 122 Injured

Córdoba, Spain -  At least 39 passengers were killed when two trains crashed in Córdoba at around 19:45 on Sunday.  Córdoba is a city in Andalusia, a southern region of Spain, and it is the provincial capital. According to official reports, out of 122 people who received medical care for their injuries, 48, including five children, are still in the hospital. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has announced three days of mourning and vowed to conduct a "thorough and absolutely transparent" investigation into the incident.  The high-speed train service between Madrid and Andalusia will be halted until at least Friday.  Local media reports that authorities have started up offices in numerous locations where victims' relatives may provide DNA samples to assist in the deceased's identification.

Pakistani President, Mr Asif Ali Zardari, Begins 4-day Iraq Visit

BAGHDAD, Iraq  —   President Asif Ali Zardari rolled into Baghdad on Saturday for an official visit all about boosting trade ties. President Zardari aims to strengthen relations with Baghdad following years of limited interaction.    "President Asif Ali Zardari arrived in Baghdad for a four-day official visit to Iraq," his office announced on social media.   Culture Minister Dr. Ahmed Fakkak Al-Badrani warmly welcomed him. The visit seeks to enhance cooperation and strengthen relations between Pakistan and Iraq through meetings with senior Iraqi leaders.   Zardari's trip is part of recent top-level meet-ups to boost ties between the two sides, focusing on economic, political, and community links.   Pakistan's foreign office announced that the president will hold discussions with Iraq's senior leaders regarding cooperation in trade, investment, energy, technology, education, and personnel.
