Citing the Afghan interior ministry, Tolo news agency reported that at least 135 people were killed and wounded after a blast hit a residential compound, located near Green village in eastern Kabul, on late Monday night. The spoke person for Afghan interior ministry further added that incident began when a vehicle loaded with explosives struck with a residential apartment, as a result of that huge part of building collapsed, and went up in smoke. In the incident, 16 people were killed and 119 others severely wounded. After the blast, about 400 foreigners working with International organizations, living in the same residential area were shifted to a secure place, the Afghan interior ministry said. The Taliban has claimed responsibility for a suicide attack.
