Over 30 Engineers & Workers Abducted By Taliban In Afghanistan

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan — An statement issued by the Afghan officials on Friday reported that 33 workers and engineers belonging to a road construction company have been kidnapped by the Taliban insurgents in Afghanistan's Kandahar province. Mr: Dawood Ahmadi, the spokesman for the governor said during the briefing to media that Taliban gunmen have taken 33 workes and technical staff as hostages in a dawn attack. He added that in shoot-out 4 security officers were killed and one received severe injuries.
