Iraqi Airstrikes Obliterate Several Islamic State's Oil Tankers In Al-Ramadi

AL-ANBAR , Iraq  — The senior commander of Iraqi popular forces (Hashd al-Shaabi ) said that more than 10 oil tankers belonging to Islamic state militants were destroyed in Iraqi Air Force airstrikes on Sunday . Qatari al-Obeidi the senior commander of Iraqi popular forces further added while briefing the media that Iraqi jets targeted the oil tankers convoy consists of approximately 300 trucks in Al-Ramadi desert in which tens of oil tankers were destroyed . Ramadi is an strategic city in central Iraq , about 110 kilometers west of Baghdad and  capital of Al Anbar province . Qatari al-Obeidi more added that tankers were targeted when they were trying to smuggle Iraqi stolen oil . Reliable sources informed the media that the Iraqi air force had dropped leaflets on Sunday in Rawa and al-Qa'em regions suggesting the civilians to stay away from  the Islamic State's held areas to prevent casualties .
