Afghanistan - Several Policemen Killed In Shooting Attack

KUNAR , Afghanistan  -- Afghan government officials have informed the media that at least 5 border police officers were killed in shootout with insurgents in Kunar province on Sunday . The spokesman for the Kunar province police chief said the media while briefing that deadly Taliban attack in the Ghash Pas area of Marawari district left 5 border police officers dead . Marawara is very important district of Afghanistan . It connects Kunar Afghanistan province to Pakistan via  Durand Line . Police source added during the fire exchange insurgents also sustained heavy losses , but  government sources failed to provide exact figure of casualties among the militants .
