Afghanistan: 3 Police Officers, Including Khost Police Chief, Killed In Blast

KABUL, Afghanistan — A statement issued by the Interior Ministry OF Afghanistan confirmed the death of Khost's Regional Police Chief. Brigadier general Sayed Ahmad Babazi was killed in a roadside an improvised explosive devices (IED) blast, yesterday night, at 11:15 p.m, Afghanistan's local time. Sayed Ahmad Babazi WAS traveling to the Zinikhil neighborhood of Nadir Shah Kot district for anti-insurgent operation when the accident occurred. One of the bystanders said, "after hitting the roadside explosive device (IED), the police vehicle went up in the air and burst into flames, killing the police chief and two of his companions." The emergency crew leaped into action after an emergency alarm to retrieve dead bodies of victims from the wreckage of the vehicle. Taliban immediately claimed the responsibility for the deadly roadside blast.

Afghan Air Force Wiped Out Taliban Commanders Meeting Venue

KABUL, Afghanistan — At least 16  members of the Afghan Taliban  Special Forces Unit  were reportedly neutralized in an aerial bombardment carried out by the Afghan Air Forces on Tuesday night, at 2:00 A.M, Afghanistan local time. The bloody action began when Afghan forces airstrike wrought havoc on the Taliban  Conclave , called by the Taliban commander Mullah Yaqoob alias Mansoor in the Koshinda district of Balkh province. In targeted airstrike sixteen Taliban Jihadists including Mullah Yaqoob alias Mansoor were eliminated, the Afghan defense ministry confirmed Taliban casualties on Tuesday.Taliban spokesperson not yet confirmed the government claims.

Afghan Government Frees 550 Taliban

The Office of the National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan informed the media via verified Twitter account on Friday that as many as 550 Taliban detained in a different part of Afghanistan had been freed. The Office of the National Security Council (ONSC) further added that 550 Taliban Jihadists imprisoned in 18 provinces of Afghanistan released under the special presidential decree signed by the Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai on March 09, 2020. According to the Doha agreement, the Afghan government is bound to release 5,000 Taliban to achieve a comprehensive and permanent ceasefire that ends the longest war of American history.

Afghanistan: 12 Civilians Shot Dead In Separate Incidents

Written By Shujaat  Hussain Abbasi Kabul, Afghanistan — At least seven civilians were reportedly killed in the gruesome gun attack launched by the unidentified perpetrators in the northern province of Balkh on Wednesday. The spokesperson for the police headquarters of the Sholgara district made an announcement during the press briefing that all victims were farmers targeted by the terrorist group when they were trying to approach their lands for cultivation. No claim of responsibility has yet been made for the gun attack by any insurgents' group. In another incident, five servicemen of Pashtany Bank were killed in the gun violence that took place on the Herat-Islam Qala highway police authorities said on Thursday evening. The incident occurred in Kohsan district of Herat province. No other identifying piece of information about deceased such as names or designations was instantly released by an Afghan police source as of yesterday.    

Afghan Govt Frees Large Number Of Taliban

Kabul, Afghanistan — Afghan government released a large number of Taliban prisoners on Wednesday evening as a part of the major Doha deal, multiple Afghan news agencies reported on  8th April.  Afghan police set free 100 Taliban from Bagram Prison, in Parwan province, under the president Ghani's special decree signed in the first quarter of March 2020. President Ashraf Ghani was bound to release  1,500 Taliban prisoners  according to the special decree which he had signed on March 09 ,2020, but only 100 Taliban granted special privileges.  After freedom, the Taliban shall be required to sign an affidavit that they will not join the battlefield again. According to the Doha accord, the Afghan government is obligated to release 5,000 Taliban in return for 1,000 Afghan soldiers and policemen presently are in the Taliban captivity. The main purpose of the Qatar deal is to achieve a comprehensive and permanent ceasefire that ends the longest war of American history. 

Afghan Military Scores Significant success Against Insurgents.

Kabul, Afghanistan —  "  Top Islamic State leader and  22 of  his adherents have been netted in a  confidential  anti-terrorists crackdown " , a representative for the Afghan military told on Saturday . Can Afghan National Security Forces Conquer Taliban Without Coalition Support?

Afghanistan: Dozens Killed As Taliban Went On Killing Spree

Kabul, Afghanistan — Afghan media outlets reported that at least 27 people mostly Afghan National security members were killed in separate pronged attacks carried out by the Taliban militants in the different parts of  Afghanistan, on Sunday night. At least 13 Afghan policemen were killed and a top police officer hurt when Taliban stormed police headquarters building in northeastern Takhar province, provincial government authorities made an announcement during the press conference. In the second attack, Taliban targeted military outposts in the southern province of Zabul killing at least 11  Afghans National security members. As many as 13 Taliban Jihadists and 4 government security officers were killed when clashes erupted between the perpetual rivals in Helmand and the northern province of Baghlan, Afghan Police claimed on Monday.

Afghanistan: Taliban Overruns Kohistan District, Killing At Least 10

A spokesperson for the conflict-affected and war embattled country confirmed on Saturday that Taliban militants dragged out government forces from Kohistan district of Badakhshan province. Taliban Went On Bloody Rampage, Killing 26 Afghan Forces

KABUL, Afghanistan — Taliban insurgents knocked down two security outposts in the late-night deadly shooting rampage, that lasted for several hours, multiple Afghan news agencies reported on Wednesday. Senior Commander Of Pakistani Taliban Sheharyar Mehsud Killed In Mine Blast

KABUL, Afghanistan — According to the Afghan government's statement at least eight civilians including a child of the same family had been killed in the US airstrikes on Friday. KABUL, Afghanistan — As many as six people had reportedly been killed near the Marshal Fahim National Defense University, in-office hours, on Tuesday morning. No claim of responsibility has yet been made for the bomb attack by any insurgents group. Afghan Special Forces Set Free 17 Captives From Taliban-run Prison

KABUL, Afghanistan — The Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) freed at least 17 detainees from Taliban captivity in a rescue operation. The intelligence-based anti-terrorist special operation was executed on Monday in Kunduz province of Afghanistan, which ended up in the liberation of 17 Afghan citizens including 15 Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF), Afghan media outlets reported yesterday. More Than 150 Taliban Capitulated To Afghan Government Forces

KABUL, Afghanistan — About 170 Taliban insurgents including three distinguished commanders Abdullah, Mohammad Yousuf, and Mullah Sarwar surrendered to Afghan security forces following the defeat in different territories of Herat and Ghor provinces, Afghanistan high-level authorities said in an announcement on Monday. Afghan officials further added that 160 Taliban jihadists from Shahrak district in Ghor province, and 12 other insurgents from Chasht-e Sharif district of Herat province laid down weapons and joined government ranks after getting settled their legal status.

Afghanistan: Taliban Overruns Darzab District

K ABUL, Afghanistan — After a successful and consequential series of onslaughts, Taliban Jihadists managed to retake the strategic district from Afghan security forces on Monday. Anti-government forces beat back the Afghan National Security Forces by staging the sequence of brazen attacks on their citadels in Darzab district of Jawzjan province of Afghanistan. According to the local media, the Taliban compelled Afghan security forces to retreat embattled turf by encircling them from all sides in Darzab district. All government forces trapped in Darzab district were rescued and shifted by Afghan military choppers to the safe area when they called for urgent help to avoid being captured by Taliban insurgents. Local media said that the Afghan air force pounded the Taliban Jihadists' positions in Darzab district of the Jawzjan province of Afghanistan causing material damage to insurgents.

Afghan Army Eliminates A Large Group Of ISIS sympathizers

KABUL, Afghanistan   Afghan warplane bombed the Islamic State's bunkers in conjunction with violent ground shelling, killing a large number of insurgents in the Achen district of Nangarhar province. Afghan military said in blistering series of onslaughts 18 malefactors affiliated with the Islamic States, and their fortifications were exterminated on Saturday. It said a huge cache of guns and explosives was completely destroyed also. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant had been facing total collapse in the Nangarhar province.
