SHUJAAT Hussain KABUL, Afghanistan — A statement issued by the Taliban militants today said that they have freed 58 border troops. Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers captured by the Taliban Jihadies few days ago have been freed after the intervention of senior combatants. Following the massive attack in Bala Murghab district by the Taliban, over 50 other Afghan border guards who crossed the border into Turkmenistan after two weeks of fierce gun battle have also safely returned home the Afghan Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
