Afghanistan: Hundreds Of Taliban Fighters Killed & Wounded In large scale crackdown.

 KABUL, Afghanistan — As many as 260 Taliban Militants have reportedly been killed and 159 others wounded in an anti-insurgents operation across the country. The large-scale anti-insurgents operation was launched by the Afghan National Defense Security Forces (ANDSF)and Afghan aerial forces in different provinces of Afghanistan, which finished up in the elimination of about 260 Taliban rebels in the past 24 hours, Afghan news agency reported on Sunday. The anti-insurgent operation was executed magnificently in Helmand, Kunar, Nangarhar, Uruzgan, Kandahar, Herat, Farah, Ghor, Balkh, Jawzjan, Takhar, Baghlan, Wardak, and Ghazni states of Afghanistan which produced wanted results. The news agency further added that large depots of ammunition and several heavy and light weapons belonging to the Taliban forces were also destroyed in a targeted airstrike.
