With America out of
the picture, it is almost impossible for Afghan forces to get their country out
off the hook. There has been a constant tug of war between the Afghan
government forces and Taliban, that has left thousands of Taliban and Afghan
forces dead. The American president Donald Trump has long promised, that he
will bring the Taliban on the table of substantive dialogue, the view that he
articulated time and over again over the years. Objectively, Afghan
forces and government want American presence in Afghanistan in order to face any kind of
contingency with adroitness. Even though the American president knew that
the lives of his forces are at stake in Afghanistan, he was unable to clinch a
desirable deal with the Afghan Taliban. In pursuance of permanent peace, Afghan
and NATO forces are trying to purge the country from the militarization. In
recent anti-Taliban operation in different parts of Afghanistan,
approximately 170 Jihadists were liquidated, and 40 another were wounded within 24 hours,
Afghan security officials said Sunday. The Anti Jehadists operation was
executed in Paktia, Ghazni, Faryab, Jawzjan, Paktika, Uruzgan, Nangarhar,
Helmand, Maidan Wardak, and Baghlan provinces.
