Afghanistan: Scores Insurgents Killed In Anti Taliban Military Operation, In Takhar Province

Taliban sustained the large scale of casualties in Takhar province. The spokesperson, for Takhar governorate, claimed that as many as 30 insurgents were killed in an anti-Taliban military operation on Wednesday. The military operation was launched in Darqad and Yangi Qala districts of northern Takhar province. The Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) backed by the Afghan Air Force wrought havoc on militants, killing 30, and wounding many more, Afghan government officials said today. Both districts, Darqad, and Yangi Qala were fell into hands of the Taliban, on 10th of September, after the Taliban carried out relentless attacks on Afghan forces in particular region.
