Afghanistan: Over A Hundred Insurgents Are Neutralized By Coalition Aerial Raids

Statement delivered by the ministry of interior of Afghanistan claimed that roundabout 163 anti-government elements were either killed or wounded across the country. The anti-militants operation was launched by the coalition forces in Sar-e-Pul, Jawzjan and Faryab provinces of Afghanistan. In intelligence-based airstrikes, Taliban sustained the large scale of casualties, government officials said on Wednesday. As claimed by the Afghan government officials, 113 Taliban jihadists were killed and 50 others were wounded in a military operation launched on Tuesday night. In airstrikes, more than 50 Multi-purpose Humvee Vehicles frequently used by the Taliban and a large quantity of cache of weapons were annihilated as well.
