Kashmir: The Chronic Problem & Bone of Contention Between India & Pakistan

This problem is called the mother of all problems between India and Pakistan. The Kashmir dispute dates back to 1947.

India and Pakistan had had three battles, first in 1948, second in 1965, and third in 1971, but the conflict of Kashmir remained unsolved because of Indian obduracy.

About 70% population of Kashmir is Muslim; they want to draw their future democratically, according to the United Nations Security Council Resolution 47, passed on 17th January 1948, but India wants to impose its will on the Kashmiri people.

To suppress the voice of Kashmiris, India has been violating human rights since the beginning of the issue.

From 1947 to date, over 12,000 Kashmiri women have been raped by the Indian ruthless military force, and rape is used as a tool to punish and humiliate Kashmiri Muslims.

According to the Kashmiri-Canadian Council, more than 95,000 Kashmiris had been killed by the Indian army since October 1989, and "Since 1990, some 1700 to 1800 people have 'disappeared' after being arrested by Indian police or armed paramilitary forces.

The Indo-Pakistani War of 1947–1948, sometimes known as the First Kashmir War, was fought between India and Pakistan over the princely state of Kashmir and Jammu from 1947 to 1948.

It was the first of three Indo-Pakistan Wars fought between the two newly born nations.

Israel Martyrs 70 Palestinians In Gaza In 24 hours

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza says that Israeli forces have martyred 70 Palestinians in just the past day. Since Israel's war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023, the Gaza Health Ministry reported 61,897 deaths and 155,660 injuries. Seventy Palestinians were sent to hospitals during the past day, including eight who were rescued from under the debris or elsewhere, according to Al Jazeera . At least 26 people sadly died while trying to get aid , and another 175 were injured. While trying to get food, at least 1,924 Palestinians have been confirmed martyred, and 14,288 have been injured. Since March 18, Israel has broken the previous ceasefire , completely blocked aid, and launched devastating airstrikes, resulting in at least 10,362 Palestinian deaths and 43,619 injuries, according to the ministry.

Train Collision In Spain: 39 Passengers Killed & 122 Injured

Córdoba, Spain - At least 39 passengers were killed when two trains crashed in Córdoba at around 19:45 on Sunday. Córdoba is a city in Andalusia, a southern region of Spain, and it is the provincial capital. According to official reports, out of 122 people who received medical care for their injuries, 48, including five children, are still in the hospital. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has announced three days of mourning and vowed to conduct a "thorough and absolutely transparent" investigation into the incident. The high-speed train service between Madrid and Andalusia will be halted until at least Friday. Local media reports that authorities have started up offices in numerous locations where victims' relatives may provide DNA samples to assist in the deceased's identification.
