Mogadishu , Somalia — At least 190 people were killed and over 200 others wounded in explosive laden truck blast , happened on the busy road near the hotel in the Hodan district of Mogadishu capital . Local citizens informed the media that it was most powerful blast they have ever heard . police spokesman Capt. Mohamed Hussein said that several buildings and vehicles were destroyed in powerful blast . He added that injured were transferred to the main hospital right after the blast . Same sources further added that death tool likely to climb because the explosion was too powerful. Police and other government sources unable to display the names of victims , as rest of city was in the state of turmoil and chaos after the deadly incident .
